Slovenia reported its first case of covid-19 on March 4, 2020. Two weeks later life came to a halt as the country went into a total lockdown. This is a personal account of how life in a small town changed. From empty highways and streets to boiling washable face masks, the home isolation and obligatory disinfecting of residetial buildings by residents themselves.
I am a documentary photographer and photojournalist. I have a BA in English and Journalism from the university of Ljubljana and have been working as a journalist and photojournalist since 1995.
