Quarantine - Looking Inward
Image 1 - Unmasked
I was inspired by my Kenyan roots, many resistant to wearing masks as COVID19 slowly crept into the country. At the time, it was thought as a disease of the western world.
Image 2 - Masked
A fews days into quarantine, Italy was hardest hit by the COVID19 virus. Being from Africa, I could not help but wonder how the Africans would survive the pandemic with fewer resources.
Image 3 - Are We Safe
The feeling of uncertainty about going back to work inspired this self portrait. I was honestly worried about my safety, re-joining the work force after quarantine.
