A behind the scenes look at the Oscars in Hollywood 2016 to 2018. A hidden part of the world famous annual event, capturing the rapid preparations creating the celebrated Red Carpet. A personal project with accreditation from AMPAS; members of the IATSE local union were followed as they sawed, hammered, nailed and painted their way in the days and nights leading to the moment the carpet debuts to an audience of millions. Receiving praise and appreciation from the Union members, I captured moments that contrast their hard work among the famous during the number one annual event in Hollywood.

Official Photographer for the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) and the bi-annual Dubai HeliShow. Personal projects include his annual trek to the dusty playa of the Burning Man Project in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada and the contrast of access to the prestigious Red Carpet at the Academy Awards in Hollywood. Mark enjoys the adventure of travel, which brings him the opportunity to make friends around the world.
