Anita was born in Lagos, Nigeria. Her ethnicity is yoruba, the western side of Nigeria - Oyo state. At the age of 4 her parents brought her to Ireland to have a better life. Although Anita moved abroad at a very young age her parents have kept their culture alive. They have taught her the language and everything about the yoruba culture. There is a lot of strength in being a Nigerian Yoruba woman. Growing up in Ireland was definitely different but Anita is grateful for the culture there too because it has made her who she is today.
