During COVID-19 lockdown this summer my world became smaller and thus I started to focus on the diversity of nature that could be found in my own garden and some larger park style gardens close to home. I developed a new found appreciation for the richness of life that can be found within a few feet (or a few miles) of my own front door. .
I view myself primarily as a portrait photographer, however most of my portraits are of nature. My focus is connecting with single subjects, whether it is a plant, butterfly, bird or a human. One to one connections are where I feel most harmonious, both in life and in photography. I enjoy color and the majority of my images reflect this.
