Giszowiec, a quiet district of Katowice (Poland). It was mostly inhabited by employees of the neighboring coal mines. Probably those boys in the photo didn't break this glass. Perhaps someone else did it. However, they did minor damage more than once, fitting the atmosphere of this working-class district.
