Shot one early misty morning in Siberia, Russia, we had just arrived at the camp site where we would spent the next two weeks living with the Nenets, a group of traditional nomadic reindeer herders. The goal was simple - we would follow their every step of the way to experience living the Nenet way of life in some of the harshest winter conditions. During our first morning at the site, while the adults were preparing for the migration by packing up their chums and belongings, the children entertained themselves with a game of what looked to me resembled a hybrid of football and dodgeball.
