Beachy Head Lighthouse
Beachy Head is a chalk headland in East Sussex, England. It is situated close to Eastbourne, immediately east of the Seven Sisters. This lighthouse, located on the beach below the Seven Sisters Cliffs about 5 km (3 mi) southwest of Eastbourne and 2.5 km (1.5 mi) east of the Belle Tout lighthouse. Site and tower closed; the lighthouse is best viewed, with great care, from the crumbling clifftop above. I was very nervous when taking this image!
I am drawn to symmetry, beauty and tranquillity. When I compose a photograph I have a vision of the final image. Often it may contain much less than the actual scene photographed.
If anything is central to my work it is the sky. Some days I get a strong feeling that the light and clouds may unite to form the picture I seek.
My preferred colour space is Black and white in a minimalist fashion.
