This entry contains several pieces of my "Into Dreamtime" project. This project is an ongoing series of underwater images that are meant to take the viewer on a journey of peace, exploration, mystery, discovery, and energy. The water is meant to be a dream medium, the surface separating the conscious and subconscious. Some images are orderly, others chaotic, both of which dreams tend to be. I typically use children and teens, though not exclusively, since they tend to offer the most unrestrained and honest energy and form.
I've worked with photography for over twenty years, seriously since 2015. My long-term project is real-life family moments where I photograph families 1-2 times per year in their homes or a regular setting. On the more artistic side I'm building a body of work that explores the nature and metaphor of the dream world.
