I found a leaf by the sea on the soft sand. As I was standing on the shore, it inspired me to take this shot in tandem with my shadow. The leaf's suggestive shape and position within my shadow, which inadvertently expressed shyness, was a play on self-revelation versus self-concealment.

I am drawn to abstracted forms and shapes, stripped-down elements, and the mysterious and at times whimsical manifestations within the apparent chaos of nature.
