Kittens almost always have a very dark muddy/brownish eye colour by 9 weeks. The kittens eyes will start out a pale, hazy blue. Gradually, over the course of several weeks, the famous copper shade will start to appear.When kittens are a little older the iris colour is lovely: a very deep orange, or vibrant copper.
