When I was eighteen my twin died suddenly. After many years of working in photography I started making portraits of non-fraternal twins for my MA. Spending time with twins is healing and voyeuristic. The images are made in or near their home using natural light. Some I photograph once, others many times over weeks, months and years. No advice is given about clothing. Nicholas started his career over twenty years ago carrying the cameras of other photographers. Based in London he lived a hand to mouth existence similar to a Dickensian boy.... With good fortune Nicholas had some wonderful experiences of the photographic industry during the nineties and has more tales than Crufts.... After completing an MA his life was going to change forever..... Nicholas started teaching.
