Embarcadero Shopping Center Clusters were designed by Frank Portman. The commercial towers often cast shadows on each other, creating interesting patterns on otherwise mundane box-shaped structures.
Gigi Chung is a San Francisco-based fine-art photographer who mainly works in medium-format digital photography. She has come to focus on architectural abstracts with a minimalistic approach. Her art work has been exhibited in multiple galleries and museums in Athens, Chania, Cormons, Glasgow, Greenville, Portland, Minneapolis, Taipei, Trieste, Tokyo, San Francisco and Vermont. Some of Chung’s recent accolades include being selected as Kyotographie KG Plus featured artist, Tokyo International Foto Awards Top 5 Jury Pick and Architecture/Interiors Winner at 16th Julia Margaret Cameron Awards.
