Abstract Iceland
The interior of Iceland was long terra incognita:unknown, unexplored country. The photographs are part of an aerial image series of the Tungna River. At the beginning of the summer the ice of the Icelandic glacier starts to melt, and flowing into the river's bed goes into the southern Iceland ocean, creating colorful and bizarre shaped rivers, since the rain’s water and the glacier’s water have different density causing them not to completely fuse together. These shoots give the point of view of the fire’s land and of the abstract and minimalist ice that perfectly combines with the contemporary art
