Hutt Lagoon is a pink salt like in Western Australia due to the presence of carotene producing algae. It is comprised of a series of artificial ponds (man made) making for some abstract geometric shapes and a spectacular array of colours . This makes for some eye catching images. In the natural section of the lake nature has created some magic abstract shapes and a kaleidoscope of stunning colours.
