Orion’s Belt aligns with Triglav, the highest mountain in Slovenia, and Rjavina in the Julian Alps, while the Horsehead Nebula appears above Mali Triglav. This image is not composited or digitally manipulated. I tracked Orion for several hours as it descended toward the mountains. At the moment the belt aligned with both peaks, I stopped the tracker and captured the landscape using the same camera settings. The result is a real alignment between Earth and one of the night sky’s most recognizable constellations.
