A hot air balloon drifts silently across the glowing horizon as the rising sun ignites the sky in deep shades of orange. Below, the land slowly awakens beneath a veil of mist and smoke, its silhouettes softened by the morning light. Suspended between night and day, the solitary balloon becomes a quiet witness to the transition—floating through a moment where the vast landscape and the rising sun share the same breath of stillness.
I’m Eric Ang, born in the United States and of Chinese heritage. I graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a background in Fine Art. Photography began as a personal pursuit during my travels, becoming a way for me to observe and connect with people, places, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed. My work is guided by an interest in light, form, and atmosphere, often focusing on subtle expressions and restrained compositions.
