Sensibilities is a body of work completed in Florence, Italy, that documented the daily life of master luthier Dario Vettori, an instrument maker in the Vettori Family of luthiers. This series offers a comprehensive portrait of an artisan whose craft is inseparable from his life. The photographs focus on the creation of a cello, capturing each stage of construction, from the selection of raw materials to the final adjustments. Beyond the workshop, this body of work reveals Dario’s unique set of sensibilities extending from his artistry and occupation as a luthier, into other areas of his life.
