This series was developed over the course of three years, with each image using seasonal plants placed on plates or bowls with chopsticks to convey a unique story or concept. Spring uses Crocus, the first flower blooming in the early spring, to tell a story of the circle of life. Summer uses a water lily floating in a bowl to symbolize the concepts of Nirvana. Autumn is inspired by a Chinese saying: "so beautiful that it is also delicious. Winter uses winter berries to tell an alternative version of Noah's Ark saga, in Sting's song "Rock Steady."
