Narratives in Light

  • Photographer
    Viktoria Farkas

This series explores the duality of the human form and the soul within, through two subjects: the dynamic shapes of ballet and intimate, low-key portraits. While the dancers are sculptures of discipline and grace, the portraits reveal the quiet stories written on a face. The common thread is the drama of light and shadow, seeking the essence beneath the surface in every subject.

I'm photographer, based in Hungary. I picked up my first professional camera in New York several years ago – that moment was the moment I committed to photography. I learned the art of photography in New York and I feel incredibly lucky to have met so many creative and inspiring photographers along the way who have supported and motivated me to grow. Today, I can’t imagine my life without my camera. My goal is to capture every moment that matters – whether it’s my own journey or the stories of my clients.
