I am not looking for originality and very complicated images by force, an unattainable pattern for me is the humanistic heritage of the pioneers of black and white photography. The presented photographs were taken in various "nooks" of the planet Earth some time ago. As we know, there are many types of geometry, for example: Euclidean, hyperbolic, elliptical. However, this project concerns a different type of geometry, namely the one that - metaphorically speaking - is related to the multiple forms (the actual list of which seems to be inexhaustible) of human loneliness.
PIOTR NALEWAJKA, born in Poland, settled in Limerick (Ireland). Photographer (professional member of Visual Artists Ireland since 2019) and Philosopher (PhD) exploring human condition mainly through abstract and documentary photography. His photographs were exhibited in several groups and solo exhibitions in Ireland, the U.K, France and Italy. "Basically, the goal of my photography is to be anti-ideological, to show visual examples of epistemological pluralism of photography. Therefore, this type of art and documentary practice can be treated simply as an exercise in empathy".
