Inspired by the bushfires that ravaged Halls Gap (Victoria Australia) I decided to photograph the aftermath of the fires in the area. While I was there another fire was burning nearby. I have tried to visualize the before, during and after of the fires. The local wildlife were all concentrated in the unburnt area. There were a few survivors in the scarred landscape. The foliage was starting to return after six weeks. Over 60 kilometers of forest had been affected.
