The pasqueflower (Pulsatilla vulgaris) is a spring flowering plant that is native to the mountains. I was able to photograph the first flower in my garden, which was particularly beautiful and large. I used the high key variant with a light background, so the focus was solely on the flower and its fine leaves.
I am 54 years old and live in Seligenstadt, Hesse. For many years, I worked as a landscape gardener, where I was able to work creatively with nature. Due to tragic events, I can no longer pursue my profession, which gave me time to devote more intensively to photography. Initially, it was primarily while traveling and in nature that I discovered abstract and contemporary photography. With a camera, you can create beautiful, individual works of art; you just have to get involved. This doesn't happen at the push of a button, however; it happens intuitively, based on the situation.
