At all times, people have moved - from place to place, from country to country. And when you move, you take yourself from a familiar place to a new one. But if you look more broadly, there are typical places everywhere on Earth, and you can put yourself in those just as you did before. The second year of my family's life in a new country, in a new city - when all things became more clearer, more familiar, and something partially appropriated. This project is about my sons' 'own' places in Domžale, Slovenia, where we have settled and where we continue to settle and put down some roots.
