Since March 2022, Ukrainian communities have been stagnated by the atrocities of Russian military invading the country. Their attacks have caused irreversible impacts on the Ukrainian livelihood, killing tens of thousands of adults, children and the elderly, and damaging enormous amount of properties. Between March and August 2022 and in October the same year, the 22-year-old Asian photographer travelled across war-scarred cities, towns, villages and the frontline, to document how the Russian invasion has caused significant impacts on Ukrainians.

25-year-old Daniel Ceng is an award-winning Asian photojournalist covering politics, social issues, war and more across the world, including Europe, Middle-East, Asia, and Southeast Asia. Daniel, when he was 22, was one of the youngest photojournalists who entered Ukraine, where he documented the aftermath of the Russian invasion and its impacts on the Ukrainian livelihood. He has been working with several international news agencies, including Anadolu Agency, EPA Image , AFP, AP, ZUMA Press, The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and The Initium.
