It'S Just Hair

My oldest son was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2016. On the cusp of being cancer free for four years, his leukemia returned. This image was taken during a 21 in-patient hospital stay after his diagnosis. We started to notice his hair falling out and clinging to his clothing. It happens rapidly, and it wasn't long till we started finding clumps of hair all over his hospital room. It can be quite a traumatizing thing to through, especially for an almost 12 year old boy. I wanted to name this image after the triggering phrase, "It's just hair." It's so much more than that.
