in 2020, ahead of his album release, and between recording tracks at the renowned Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, Max Poscente and I took off into the wild deserts of Eastern California. We found ourselves amongst the ruins of a ghost town in some forgotten sand dunes on the far side of nowhere. It seemed like a fitting backdrop for the social and psychological climate at the time. As the sun began its end of day retreat , the land scape became both forlorn and promising. Perhaps symbolic of all our endeavors during the past few years.
