This is a very unique ritual and known as an old tradition in Toraja.  I am personally interested in this event because it is started from the beliefs, moral values and law that form Torajan’s culture. The title is  “The Ancestors Memories” giving respect to our ancestors varies depending  on cultures and beliefs. The Torajans have their  own way with a ritual called “Ma’ nene”, where they clean and put clothes on the dead bodies that have been buried forten to hundreds of years. They believed that the “Ma’ nene”ritual would bring prosperity to their village.
