There's trash as wide as the eye can see in Dandora, Nairobi's biggest dump site. Every day, up to 2,000 people are sifting through the garbage, hoping to find something they can turn into a profit. The dump site has long been acknowledged as a highly dangerous part of Nairobi, a hub for criminal groups.

Michele Camicia (b.1995, Italy) is an Italian photographer based in Milan, where he works on various projects both locally and internationally. His personal work focuses mainly on short and long terms documentary projects in which he explores social issues. After his studies in Communications, he attended photography courses at the John Kaverdash Academy in Milan.
