I took this photo at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. Sitting under Salvador Dali's painting, "The Sacrament of The Last Supper,'" the three young men seem utterly divorced from their setting and completely oblivious to the work above them. Nevertheless, in their body language, their identical hoodies, their stance and placement, they mirror the apostles in the painting. They too are the apostles of a new religion, Technology. This photo was not posed and I was amazed by its coincidences.

I am a native New Yorker, an audio editor, and the author of three non-fiction books, one of which, "The Cowboy Catalog," became a best-seller. I have a degree in French Literature and Journalism from New York University, but my greatest teacher has been New York City itself. Exiled now to Washington, DC, my mind and heart still run on New York time. That means I love drama, action, noise, the off-beat and outspoken, the theatre of the street. Tell me you see any of these in my photographs and I will be your friend for life.
