Modern haute couture dresses inspired from the Greek traditional costume are being photographed next to the traditional dresses that served as the original inspiration for them. Each garment is a tribute to a different part of Greece, from the islands to the mainland. Local women from each place pose while wearing their own traditional costumes and the modern piece always stands among them. This project is a tribute to Greek art, textile, expression, femininity as well as an ode to the versatility and diversity of the Traditional Garment.
