My last few shoots have been experimentations with hair, makeup, and fashion. My goal was to capture the flitty yet beautiful nature of the butterfly. I was drawn to the Blue Mormon, Doris Longwing, Zebra Swallowtail, White Morpho, Cabbage White (I chased it in London to no avail), Common Pierrot, Elbowed Pierrot, and Malabar tree-nymph amongst others. I began with black, white, and green as the main colors while adding a slight bit of red accents with the nails.
