Too many people still lack access to quality healthcare, which makes it hard to face even the mildest medical conditions. Operation Ethiopia is an NGO that helps provide eye healthcare to people with no access to proper treatment in Ethiopia. A cataract surgery campaign was conducted in rural northern Ethiopia, where hundreds of people underwent free cataract surgeries, operated by local doctors, and gained their eyesight back. Hundreds more received other types of treatments and were provided with eyeglasses and sunglasses, which would improve their lives substantially.
