When we started conceptualising Balancing Acts at the beginning of 2020, we had no idea just how much the world was about to change. Returning to these photographs now after what feels like a lifetime, it feels fitting, almost premonitory in a way, that we ended up creating a story focused on themes of balancing different forces: nature and humankind; structure and chaos; light and darkness
