Between the crazy hours at work, family life and social media, we often leave out something essential. We end up forgetting ourselves. This series aims to make us more aware of our habits and to make us reflect on the importance of reconnecting with our deeply rooted love for nature.
Nancy Hamel (Nhi) is a fine art photographer and artist based in Montreal. Nancy’s work is strongly influenced by her background in contemporary dance. She has the DNA of movement tattooed on her heart. Her work reflects a minimalist, graphic aesthetic which captures a gentle yet colourful world. She approaches subjects that are serious, often with deep personal significance, but with a touch of softness, aimed at drawing out beauty and prompting reflection by the viewer.
