I was born and brought up in a family running furniture business since generations. Fascinated by the movement of the carpenter’s hands on tools creating beautiful curly wood shavings, notable smells of lacquer polish, varnish odours, smells of wax and other fresh paints. I loved the way paint dripped on their bodies & waited to chisel my ideas when I saw the wonders of craftsmanship with details of intricate wood carvings. Visiting my Dad’s store was always a delight.
