The series "Soul-reflection" has started as a visual expression of my inner world. As a former dancer, I often like to observe and capture the human body in an abstract and surreal way, almost like creating a living sculpture. The distortion of the figure blurs the line between reality and illusion, natural and artificial. The main goal of my work is to interact with the audience and to open up a field for interpretation of the story.
Viktoria Andreeva is a fine-art photographer, born and raised in Bulgaria. As a former ballet dancer, her love and passion for the art of movement, has deeply influenced her aesthetic views. In 2015 she moved to Vienna to study Photography and audiovisual media at the College of Arts Die Graphische. She is not only using the body as the main composition element, but she plays with opposites that only contradict each other at first sight.
