This serie is made in times off isolation, it got me reminiscing, looking at some old photos & thinking back about simple childhood food memories that made my happy as a little child, an often nostalgic recalling from long past and gone, that bring an image from the past into the mind, combining it together with some old kitchen tools into a few minimalistic conceptual images.
Wesley Dombrecht(1979) is a Belgium-based commercial and artistic food & still-life photographer, his love for photography and art began at young age beside his passion for food. Over the years ,his work evolved from commercial and editorial food photography to still-life / fine-art photography. His fine-art work is Internationally acclaimed and awarded and has also been included in several group exhibitions like in Italy, Berlin, London, Denmark, Tokio, the Netherlands & Belgium.Some works have been exhibited at art-galleries like in Italy- InArte Gallery & the Netherlands at Grachtengallery
