Simone Boon, Dutch born, is an experimental fine art photographer. She received her Master of Fine Arts from the RMIT, Campus Hong Kong, 2010. Her photography developed into a unique approach to express human identity within a philosophy of becoming, from a feminine perspective. The three entries 'Unfolding', 'Drifting' and 'Changing Wind' of this series were inspired by the Blue Mountains In SA Simone creates fine art photographs by body movement, colours, light and camera, unveiling flowing transitions, shapes and forms that were not possible to grasp with the bare eye.

Simone, Dutch, lived from young age onwards amidst different cultures. This was of crucial influence in her art. A life between East and West made her aware of the different paradigms of perception embedded in each of us. The thought of impermanence permeated through life experience and became an underlying concept in her work. The thought, in reality form exists only in transition (Henri Bergson) became the source for her experimental photography. Her photos express an essence that goes beyond the moment here and now, a flowing identity from a feminine perspective.
