During Semana Santa in southern Spain, brotherhoods carry massive pasos through narrow streets, transforming faith into a physical burden. This series explores the fragile boundary between costaleros, penitents, spectators and the photographer. Through endurance, pain, pride and prayer, individual experiences merge into a shared ritual. In black and white, the procession emerges not as a spectacle, but as a collective expression of devotion where the distinction between participant, observer and witness gradually disappears.
