This selection of work is the living omniscience of how major surgical trauma has influenced the way I fragment, conceal, and transfigure my own body and its parts when I turn the camera on myself.
Creativity eluded me for the first two decades of my life, or at least I didn't know it lurked within. In college, my science degree slowly morphed into that of studio art, and I have found myself wholly, sometimes blissfully, in confusion between science and art ever since. Recently I have become dedicated to fusing these parts of myself - as I have learned over the years that I don't feel complete when either one is lacking - the current manifestation of which is studying wine at a master's level in Italy.
