These aerial photographs were taken in winter, just after the ice had melted from a shallow saline lake. Natural minerals and algae created vivid shades of purple and orange, turning the landscape into an abstract painting. A small group of greylag geese glides across the water, leaving delicate trails like brushstrokes. Captured ethically by drone from over 250 metres with a telephoto camera, the image reveals how a simple moment, seen from above, can transform a familiar landscape into something surreal and extraordinary, revealing nature's hidden artistry.
My love of nature comes primarily from my father. As a child, I spent countless hours hiking with him. He taught me to notice the smallest details, understand the rhythms of nature, and approach the living world with respect. He also gave me my first camera, an old analogue model. At first, I simply documented our excursions, but before long I became fascinated by light, composition, and atmosphere. After completing wildlife photography courses in 2019, I realized that photography had become far more than a hobby.I plan my days, and often my entire year, around the rhythms of nature.
