The project "Unbound" is an exploration of the journey into the shadow and the search for the true self. Drawing on Carl Jung’s theories of shadow work the series seeks to make the unconscious conscious. We all wear masks created to survive the weight of pain and trauma in the past. But by daring to face the darkness rather than flee from it, the spell begins to break. By confronting our own shadows, the mask we wear to survive falls away, and freedom finds its way into the light. "One does not become enlightened by imagining figure of light, but by making the darkness conscious." C.J.
