Specters of the Past is a photographic exploration of memory, folklore, and abandoned places in Baja California Sur, Mexico. Inspired by two legends from the mining town of El Triunfo, the series recreates stories that have endured through generations. Set in the 1930s, the photographs portray a young girl believed to possess clairvoyant abilities and a miner haunted by loss and memory. Through staged imagery, the project reflects on absence, memory, and the enduring presence of the past within the landscape.
