Inside a vibrant market in Egypt, a traveler reaches toward a glowing lantern surrounded by hundreds of handcrafted lights. The warm glow of brass lamps fills the space with intricate patterns and golden reflections, revealing the rich artistry of traditional Egyptian craftsmanship. The scene captures the enchanting atmosphere of wandering through Cairo’s historic bazaars, where light, culture, and discovery merge into an unforgettable travel experience.

I’m Eric Ang, born in the United States and of Chinese heritage. I graduated from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, with a background in Fine Art. Photography began as a personal pursuit during my travels, becoming a way for me to observe and connect with people, places, and quiet moments that often go unnoticed. My work is guided by an interest in light, form, and atmosphere, often focusing on subtle expressions and restrained compositions.
