Analog series in the floating slum of Hanuabada in Port Moresby, the capital of Papua New Guinea. Hanuabada means "big village" in the Motu language. Due to population growth and a combination of environmental factors, survival has become a challenge. The seawater in this area is increasingly polluted: lack of garbage collection system, sanitation facilities, wastewater treatment systems, accumulation of plastic waste on the shore. Water pollution has a direct impact on the ecosystem, fishing, and the health of the local population (skin problems, diarrhea, typhoid fever, malaria, cholera).
