The Aiguille Noire de Peuterey (3.773 m) from the Val Veny, a symbolic mountain of the Mont Blanc massif. The first person to ever climb the Aiguille Noire de Peuterey was the Courmayeur mountain guide Emilio Rey, who conquered the summit on 5 August 1877 together with the British mountaineer Lord Wentworth and the guide Giovanni Battista Bich. In this photograph, the sun penetrates the clouds and illuminates the main peak, relegating the vast area below to shadow. With Hasselblad 500 CM, Carl-Zeiss 250 mm lens and Kodak Tri-x 400 film.

I live in a small town in Monferrato, a countryside region in Piedmont, Italy. I started making photography my job in 2012, first as a mountain sports photographer, then as a fashion photographer. However, since I was young, my passion has been for the landscape. With analogue photography, I search for myself, taking back my time. For me photography is a real obsession, an essential part of myself.
