However, alongside classic black-and-white photography, my great passion is BNW fine art processing of long-exposure shots. The results of my work can also be viewed on 1x.com and 100ASA. My name is Bernd Gantert. I was born on 7 April 1960 in Germany. I worked as an architect for 40 years until the end of August 2025. I have been retired since 1 September 2025, but I am still a member of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Architects in Germany. Four years ago, I took part in two workshops on black-and-white fine art photography. Even before that, I was fascinated by the artwork of Joel Tjintjelaars.
