Morocco, Sentimental Atlas is a tribute to Morocco’s beauty, where ancestral traditions blend the sacred and profane. Its chromatic sensibility shapes timeless atmospheres, with ochre yellow deepening as it reveals every detail. This collection captures the country’s harmonies, contrasts, and energy; scenes that seem painted yet arise from everyday life. Here, color is not just seen but lived, embodying the warmth and generosity of its people. This project is also a personal journey, tracing the shades of my wife’s childhood, mapping emotions that connect memory to place.
Nicola Fioravanti (b. 1985) is an Italian photographer who lives and works in Paris. His work focuses mainly on street photography and attests to a constant exploration of the potential of color in urban environments. Rather than using color as a simple means of representing reality, he uses it as the defining element of his photography.
