Suspended Childhoods

  • Photographer
    Livia Peres

Between the leap and the landing, there’s a place where time falters. That’s where these images live. Suspended Childhoods traces the vertigo of bodies that don’t yet know if they’re falling or flying. Where the world is still light matter, and gestures verge on incantation. This is not about nostalgia, but presence: raw, weightless, unpredictable. These children are not subjects, but vertices in an unstable choreography of light, silence, and awe.

Lívia Peres is a brazilian photographer and mother of three. After the birth of her first daughter, she left behind urban life in Brazil to embrace a quieter, more nature-centered life in Switzerland. Her work focuses on the emotional landscapes of motherhood and childhood, capturing both their beauty and their challenges.
